The Epic of Gilgamesh
The focus of the project is to create a modern book design that will reflect on the ancient text from Mesopotamia. Through the use of typography and imagery, the book design will focus on the mythological point of view that reflects on the Gods in the story. The book portrays multiple emotions and themes, as a result the use of color in the images sets the tone of each chapter. The design strives for the reader to leave with a feeling of empathy towards the characters after reading the book.

The main focus for the images was to depict the connection between gods and constellations, while giving an emotion. As a result, I discovered constellation images that displayed beautiful colors, and edited the colors to portray an emotion or theme like green to give a sense of growth in the story.
